When the Throat Rebels, I've Got Stories to Tell...

I know that this title may seem a bit odd, shrouded in some metaphorical haze, but in truth, my throat has rebelled. My tonsils decided that after years of our general armistice, they should pull a North Korea and go all "nah nanny boo boo" on me. Does that make sense? Regardless, I have tonsillitis, strep, and a chest infection. This leaves me to ponder the question: why do I get sick so much? Is it the smoking? No, that is an answer I wholly refuse to accept. Is it the environments I choose to live in? No, I don't think so. Those make my brain sick more than my body. Perhaps it is that whenever the weather so much as changes a beat, my sinuses go into overload, causing intense discomfort and the immediate impulse to "just end it now" (this is also caused by the aforementioned 'environment' I choose to live in). I think that is the scapegoat I am going to pull out of the scottish field that is my mind.

Wait, let me say this...ignore my weird sayings. I have a fever and am sure that I will look back on this blog and say "What the fuck," but I am going with it.

Anyways, other than sickness, not too much has been happening in my life. Nothing, at least, since I made those drunk memos, and even those were a sign that life in London is just sort of levelling out. I had my first weekend off from travelling in a month, and I just sort of sat around doing nothing. Hoorah! On Saturday we all went to this cool indie/glam/whatever else rock club called The Stardust. It was pretty awesome, mostly because I had drank ten shots of voddy and at least another three, closer to four, of Senor Tequila. In the words of the Campbell's Soup Company, "Mmmmm Mmmmm Gooooood!"

Other than that, nothing has happened of late. Don't even really know why I am blogging, but when you are sick/drugged, what else is there to do? That's right, nothing. I am off to Amsterdam (cough, Prague, if the rents have somehow accessed this, in which case I am caught red handed) this weekend with Mike, Chelsea, Annie, Jess, and this other girl I don't really know, and get the feeling I might not want to know. Liza and Ethan (grumble grumble...scowl) will also be there, and hopefully we will all be able to meet up with the former rather than the latter for some hot shrooms action. Wish me luck!
